PiP is being developed alongside SeniorAdvisor and affiliated senior-sector platforms with more than a decade of experience across retirement living, aged care, senior services and family decision-making. That gives PiP a grounded view of operator needs, the questions families actually ask, the New Zealand retirement village context, and the practical workflows that make software useful day to day.

Product & service partners
Bring trusted tools into one familiar app.
Some villages already use specialist tools for devices, monitoring, security, photos, communications or resident services. PiP can partner with those providers so the resident, family or staff experience can be surfaced inside one familiar app instead of asking people to jump between multiple systems.
PiP does not turn the resident app into an advertising feed. Partner integrations are only shown where they are relevant, approved by the operator, and useful to the village experience. Third-party products remain responsible for their own product, advice, data accuracy and support.

Responsibility
Where responsibility sits.
PiP can surface approved third-party information in one place, but the original provider remains responsible for the underlying device, service, advice, data feed or content. For example, PiP may remind a resident about medication entered by the village or family, but PiP does not prescribe medication. PiP may show information from a heart monitor or content provider, but the device or content provider remains responsible for the source product and support. The operator controls which integrations are enabled.
- •Medication reminders: PiP reminds someone to take what has been entered; PiP does not prescribe medication.
- •Heart monitors: PiP can show data or link to FAQs/support; the device provider remains responsible for the product and data source.
- •Daily Cuppa / news content: PiP can pull in content; PiP does not own or author every source item.
- •Security cameras / devices: PiP can display or link to approved feeds/settings; the provider remains responsible for device performance, privacy controls and support.
